Neighbourhoods of Gibsons: North Road & Park Road

Stretching from Payne Road to North Road, the Gibsons neighbourhood of North and Park blends natural beauty with the convenience of popular community amenities.

North and Park is mostly level, making this the most walkable neighbourhood in Gibsons.
At the west side of North and Park, you'll find the residential community of Parkland. A mix of single-family homes, duplexes, and condos provides a diverse range of housing options. Amenities include tennis courts and a forested trail that connects you to Park Road.

In the centre of the neighbourhood is the Gibsons and Area Community Centre. This recreation complex offers a wide range of amenities, including an NHL-sized arena, squash and racquetball courts, and a well-equipped weight room.

Other things you’ll find in this neighbourhood are Brothers Park with its three ball diamonds and the Gibsons Skatepark. There’s also an RCMP Community Police Office right next to the community centre. The eastern edge of the neighbourhood has more single-family homes and condos.

Students can walk to nearby Gibsons Elementary and Elphinstone Secondary Schools. Sunnycrest Mall provides lots of shopping and dining options for Gibsons residents, and if you make frequent visits to Vancouver, the BC Ferries Langdale terminal is a short 7-minute drive away. This easy ferry access makes North and Park ideal for those who need easy access to the city.

With its mix of residential areas and community amenities, it's no wonder that this neighbourhood is a popular choice for families and retirees. If you aspire to live car free or you simply enjoy the benefits of living in a walkable neighbourhood in Gibsons, North and Park is for you.
